The Woods is a journey and the physical embodiment of "Komorebi" – a Japanese term for when sunlight filters through the trees and the interplay between the light and the leaves.
As much as possible, we choose to use smaller-batch distilleries with high quality products and wonderful stories.
We make our own crystal clear ice blocks, hand-carved ice spheres, and cubes in our infamous walk-in freezer.
We source and juice our produce fresh each day. We specialise in using seasonal fruits and vegetables at their peak.

Our menu consists of classic cocktails made with a twist of market-fresh ingredients, and also features a list of concoctions that use fruits and vegetables as they come into season– be it Spring, Summer, Autumn or Winter. Once in a while, we will be inspired by things we find that day in the market and offer a ‘Market-Fresh Special’. Just ask our staff about it!
Our most exciting offering is our 8-seater, reservations-only bar area. Here, we turn the traditional Prix-Fixe menu on its head. You can pick your appetiser, main and dessert, except the centre of each course is the cocktail, and it is paired with a nibble of food. Every drink is experimental and experiential, guaranteeing a wow-factor and a visual journey. The menu changes every 8 weeks, depending on seasonality, new themes, as well as collaborations.

FOUNDER / MANAGING DIRECTOR
Before founding The Woods, Victoria was involved in brand management and marketing over the last six years. She has worked in a wide range of roles providing advice to clients regarding event production, brand identity consulting, social media marketing and public relations. She manages The Woods and plays a key role in marketing, menu development and event customisation at The Woods. In addition, all the photographs on this website and on The Woods Facebook page are her work!
CO-FOUNDER / CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
Juliette is the co-founder and Chief Financial Officer of IRG, a boutique investment banking and asset management firm which focuses on the core growth sectors in Asia. Juliette advises Asian and global corporates, private equity funds, family offices, hedge funds and sovereign wealth funds on a range of transactions. She looks over the finance and investments for The Woods.
CREATIVE DIRECTOR
Regina is the co-founder of Red Abacus Design, a boutique design firm with offices in Hong Kong and Shanghai focusing on architecture and interior design. Regina obtained her bachelor and master degrees in architecture from University of California, Berkeley and Columbia University. She designed the interior of The Woods and looks after its regular visual updates.
MANAGER EXTRAORDINARE
Alex spent his past life working at and managing high-volume clubbing giant Privé. He looks after The Woods' day-to-day operations and is your go-to man for any questions or concerns!
